Red Robin!

Photobucket
Friday Rowdy and I spend the day with Jimmys mom and his sisters, we went to the beauty supply store, Norstroms Rack, and Red Robin. It was a lot of fun, and something I should do more often. When I was pregnant with Rowdy so where 5 of Jimmys sisters, and we where all due with in 3 months of each other pinning Rowdy right in the middle. It is always so fun to see all of them interact together now that they are old enough to play with each other. It's always fun to walk into a restaurant together and ask for 6 high chairs and all of us with a one year old in our arms.
Rowdy is normally a pretty good baby when we take him out, luckily he wasn't any different on Friday. If I could have just kept him from eating the coasters, it would have been a perfect meal!

Fun in the sun!

Rowdy has taken a little while to warm up to the idea that he is going to be a little sun baby! He really had no choice on the matter...mommy loves the sun...baby has too! So after many attempts at taking him swimming in big pools and having him bear hug me to death the entire time. We finally purchased a baby pool for him! I am pleased to say he loves it!!!

The hand pump I used to pump his new pool up with! Never again will I go cheap and buy a hand pump instead of an eletric one! My arms are still like butter!

Rowdy had as much fun watching me blow it up, as he did swimming in it! He was like a crazy person trying to figure out what I was blowing up in our front room, it was too cute!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that a few more times in the his pool will prepare him for the BIG pool! Either way we had a ton of fun in the sun!

I got tagged!

Thank you Amy, your a big weenie and pay backs a comin!

Need to do list: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about myself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!

3 Joys...

1. Rowdy, he has been such a fun addition to our little family, he has so much personality and I love that I get to play with him all day...it's the best job ever!

2. Jimmy, I am so thankful for my sweet husband. He brings so much happiness into my life, and he spoils me everyday!

3. My mom, I am so lucky to have my mom a mile down the road. She is such a great friend and is so helpful, it's nice to be able to pick up the phone and chat with her whenever I have something to talk about, she is as crazy and fun as it gets!

3 Fears...

1. Heights, this was never a fear of mine when I was younger but as the years keep coming the fear grows stronger. I think the older I get the more I realize just how much I don't want to fall, jump, or dive off of something really high in the air because I now know hitting the bottom can really hurt!

2. Chain Saws, now this is kind of a silly one...but when I was a kid my dad was always trying to scare me. Things like...when I was in high school he used to wait for me outside to come home really late just so he could come running out from behind something and scare the livin crap out of me, or sometimes he would just come bouncing in my room like he was doing a rade, he really enjoyed this when I had friends sleeping over or when I was minding my own business he just loved the reaction he would get. Now back to the chain saw he used to take me to hunted houses, really scary ones (when I was way to young to go) that always had the chain saw at the end. The sound of them still sends a chill threw me. So thanks to my dad, I am still terrified of them!

3.Being rear ended, I have had this happen a couple of times in my life and it is something I don't ever want to happen again. I still look in my rear view mirror every time I am at a stop light to make sure little of driver behind me isn't about to take it right into the back of my car!

3 goals...

1. Lose weight, this is always on the agenda...I am a work in progress and I hope I will never stop caring to look my best!

2. Keep Rowdy safe, this is a big one for those of you who know Rowdy, he is into everything and I am always playing guarding angel. If I can get threw the next 18 years without to many cuts and bruises I will be a very happy camper!

3. Work on my marriage, I think marriage is something you have to work on daily to keep things spicy, fun, and interesting. I have a wonderful marriage with Jimmy with tons of laughs and lots of good times...I never want that to change...this will be my goal indefinitely!

3 Current obsessions/Collections

1. Twilight Series, Now I am not much of a reader but after hearing so much hype about this series I decided to give it a whirl...I loved it! I read the entire thing in a week, I am half way threw "The Host" and I am enjoying that book as well. Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful Author and I am so excited to read he 4th book in this series. It is very much my obsessions currently!

2. Blazing Noodles, I have found this wonderful meal at Pei Wei. My husband is a big fan of this food, and it has taken me awhile to find something I really enjoy there. But I have finally found it, Blazing Noodles is a delicious pasta dish that is super spicy, and very yummy. I love spicy food and the hotter the better. This is a huge current craving of mine!

3. Jewelry, I love love love jewelry, I love to wear it, I love to make it, I love to buy it! It doesn't madder if it is super expensive, or extremely cheap I love it all! It's a current obsession, a past obsession and will always be a big a huge obsession in my life!

3 Random Surprising Facts...

1. I am a secret lover of Tupperware, I want everything I own in little Tupperware compartments. In the kitchen, bathroom, office, bedroom you name it if I could put everything I own in Tupperware I would. This is one of my crazier obsessions, I don't tell many people! But here it is world I love Tupperware, and if I could I would rid the world of granola bar boxes, q tip boxes, pencil holders, moving boxes ( I just moved my entire house in large Tupperware containers, we didn't use one cardboard box) and any other boxes you can think of and go entirely to Tupperware!

2. I won snow queen 2 years in a row, in junior high we had this ridiculous Christmas after school dance. Everyone would vote for a snow queen and king. I won both my 8th grade and 9th grade year. I ended up with this hideous plastic crown and I had to slow dance with the poor sap that one snow king! It was horrible both years!

3. I love war movies, I am a guts and glory kind of gal. I love movies with a lot of fighting scenes, crazy war hero's and battles. One of my favorites is Braveheart, I have seen that movie more times then I would ever admit to! Jimmy could give or take on these movies so I do most of my blood bath watching when he is busy with other things. Kind of morbid I know, but it's definitely a surprising fact!
