A day to remember!!!

So yesterday was definitely a day to remember for me. I dropped Rowdy off at my moms first thing yesterday morning and headed off for a day at the SPA!!! Jimmy and Rowdy gave me this gift card for a spa day last May and as much as I have wanted to use it, I have felt weird about getting a babysitter for the day so that I can go and pamper myself. But this week I really needed the time away, and it was wonderful!
I started off with an awesome prenatal massage...

Next I had a wonderful pedicure/manicure that was much needed!

I finished the day off with an eyebrow wax...
It was so much fun, something I really needed and something I don't get to do very often...Thanks babe for a great day!

Boxes

I can't figure out why I continue to buy expensive toys when all Rowdy really wants to play with are boxes. I can give him toy after toy and none of them keep him entertained...I give him a box and he is busy for hours.
Next time he is ready for new toys, I am headed to the UPS store for boxes, it will save me money and he will think he died and went to heaven!

Big Dog Rub Off!

Anyone that knows my dad, knows he loves a good foot rub! Some of his most famous words are "my dogs are barking!"
As a child I was involved with many "Big Dog Rub Offs" along with most of my childhood friends. (Jonny, I am sorry if this scarred you)
Well, it is offical he has past this trait onto my son.
Rowdy loves a good foot rub. He will sit still for me as long as I am willing to rub his "Little Dogs".
It's only a matter of time before the "Big Dog Rub Off" will start again!

1/2 way there!

Today is a very happy day for me! I am officially half way threw my pregnancy! I am also in the "good" stage of being pregnant. I am over the morning sickness part, and I am not so big I can't function yet. (although I feel that way, I know from Rowdy it gets much worse)
So as for today I am going to look past the fact the I have had a cold for 2 weeks, Rowdy has pink eye in both eyes and a double ear infection, and Jimmy still snores like a bear every night...and just be happy to be 1/2 way there!!!

My little worker bee!

Rowdy got a ton of tools for Christmas and has been working like a dog ever since!

Every morning he brings me his belt, so I can help him strap it on, then away he goes.

I have even caught him right in the middle of playing with something totally different, jump up run to the wall do some hammering then go right back to what he was doing.

It's like every now and then he gets the urge to work a little.

He is really getting to be a very funny kid!

Rowdy adores himself!

Rowdy is really into mirrors, I think he is completely confused at what they are and what they do.

He likes to sit in front of this mirror I have and do all sorts of weird things. Sometimes he gives himself kisses and giggles. Other times he points to himself and yells no!!! He likes to challenge himself by going fist to fist to see who backs down first, he always ends up running away yelling.

Sometimes he sits and plays in front of it building things, and watching himself work.

I don't know if he loves the mirror or hates the mirror?

It has been so funny to watch him try and figure it out. All I know is this is some good, cheap entertainment!

Christmas Lights...

This year we did a lot of driving around looking at lights.

It was even warm enough this year to walk around our neighborhood and check them out.
