Jimmy has started teaching Jiujitsu to a couple of people. It is awesome to see him teaching this very technical sport. It is fun to see him take something that he loves and that he is very good at and share his talent with others. Other then this is happening in my front room and I have to close my eyes and pray nothing gets broken (bones, walls, home decor etc.) I am proud to see him doing something he enjoys.

Big Boy Bed!
HELP!

Such a big boy!
Often during my days at home, knee deep in diapers, bottles, toys, etc. I just stop and bear hug him and kiss him till I get my "fix" he is growing so fast I just want to stop time and hang out for a while! We are lucky to have him in our home!
(This is the first and only picture I have been able to get in months that he is actually looking at the camera! As soon as he sees me coming with it he turns and runs! Jimmy sneaks in some good ones on his phone once in awhile...maybe someday I will get to posting those!)

Motherhood!
I got this email from my sister in law and thought it was very funny! Seeing how the people that read my blog are mostly mothers I thought I would share!
THE
NEXT SURVIVOR
SERIES
Six married men
will be dropped on an island with one car and
3 kids each for six weeks.
Each kid will play two sports
and take either music or dance classes.
There is no fast food.
Each man must
take care of his 3 kids;
keep his assigned house clean,
correct all homework,
complete science projects,
cook,
do laundry,
and pay a list of 'pretend' bills
with not enough money.
In addition, each man
will have to budget in money
for groceries each week.
Each man
must remember the birthdays
of all their friends and relatives,
and send cards out on time--no emailing.
Each man must also take each child
to a doctor's appointment,
a dentist appointment
and a haircut appointment.
He must make one unscheduled and
inconvenient visit per child to the Urgent Care..
He must also make cookies or cupcakes
for a social function.
Each man will be responsible for
decorating his own assigned house,
planting flowers outside, and keeping it
presentable at all times.
The men will only have access to television
when the kids are asleep and all chores are done.
The men must shave their legs,
wear makeup daily,
adorn
themselves with jewelry,
wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes,
keep fingernails polished,
and eyebrows groomed.
During one of the six weeks,
the men will have to endure severe
abdominal cramps, back aches,
have extreme, unexplained mood swings
but never once complain or slow down
from other duties.
They must attend weekly school meetings and
church,
and find time at least once to spend
the afternoon at the park or a similar
setting.
They will need to read a book to the kids
each night and in the morning,
feed them,
dress them,
brush their teeth and
comb their hair
by 7:00 am.
A test will be given at the end of the six weeks,
and each father will be
required to know all of the following information:
each child's
birthday,
height, weight,
shoe size, clothes size,
doctor's name,
the child's weight at birth,
length, time of birth,
and length of labor,
each child's favorite color,
middle name,
favorite snack,
favorite song,
favorite drink,
favorite toy,
biggest fear,
and what they want to be when they grow up.
The kids vote them off the island based on performance.
The last man wins only if...
he still
has enough energy
to be intimate with his spouse
at a moment's
notice.
If the last man does win,
he can play the game over and over and over
again for the next 18-25 years,
eventually earning the right
to be called Mother!

10 days or 25 years...
But if I where turning 80 I would be having the time of my life...I woke up to my husband giving me a really nice card, and some sweet tickets for WICKED!!! I have no idea where he got the idea I wanted to see it. Maybe it was the excessive e-mail links I have been sending his way to the WICKED website... :)
Tonight my in laws are taking us to dinner, I can't wait. My mom made a birthday cake for me and I plan on polishing a good portion off tonight when I get home. Thanks to everyone who made this a fun day, even though I am not so fun to be around right now.
10 more days of feeling like crap, this baby better make the right move and come on time or before. Rowdy came a week late and I still haven't forgiven him. :)

April

My brother Matt and his family came to visit for a few days, it was so nice to have them around. Rowdy loved his 2 girls, and they had a blast. One night we got together with him and his wife to play the wii. This is Matt and Jimmy in a serious boxing match. We miss you guys already!

Playdate at the fiesta Mall, we do this on Thursday with Rowdy's two little friends...Ben and James. These 3 little boys are cute little friends and we love hanging out with them!

A normal breakfast for us. Rowdy just sits and stares at me like I am crazy to think he is actual going to eat. I have no clue what this boy runs on all day. He eats like a bird.

Checking out all the "NEW" baby things that keep arriving at our house. I don't think the poor kid has a clue whats coming...

My sister Amy, and neice Kennedy, came to visit for a couple of day. They where here for Rowdys birthday and they came with us to the Chandler Mall to watch Rowdy play. We tried to take everyone to Makalas Island for some serious playing, but when we got there it was closed.
Kennedy is such a sweetheart, she is a little old for the playland at the mall but was a good sport about the entire trip.

Amy, Doug, and I took Kennedy and Rowdy to feed the ducks one afternoon, Rowdy fed the ducks a little...but most of the duck seed ended up on his head.

He is WOW WOW Wubzy's biggest fan right now, he talks about the cartoon all the time. For his birthday we got him a couple of the movies and he hasn't stopped talking about it. He wants to watch them constantly!

His main birthday present was this new playhouse log cabin. He loved it! He went crazy playing peek a boo with Jimmy and I. He was giggling so much, it was a lot of fun watching him enjoy it so much!

Jimmy and I took him to Red Robin for his birthday lunch. After he had eaten his Grilled Cheese, our waiter brought out this hug icecream sunday for him, and they sang Happy Birthday. He was loving all the attention.

Kennedy feeding Rowdy some beans at Rubios, Rowdy wouldn't eat them unless Kennedy fed them to him. I don't know what that was about?

Rowdy playing dress up, at our friend Mandy's house. We do a playdate every Monday with them and we both have a great time. Thanks for having us over!

New weather appropriate church clothes. A little casual for me but the kid is two and still in nursury. Hopefully the other kids in nursury don't judge him :)
That pretty much sums up the past few weeks. Hopefully I can be better about posting with so much going on in ours lives I don't want to forget things...
