Utah!!!

Utah, here we come! Rowdy and I are headed to Utah for the next 10 days. Hopefully he wont lose it on the plane! Wish us luck!

Rowdy at 18 months...

I finally got Rowdys 18 month pictures back so I wanted to post about what this little guy is into at 18 months.

Weight 28.7 (75%)
Height 341/2 (95%)

Rowdy is absolutey the biggest ball of energy right now. He is always on the move, and always headed for his next project.
He loves talking on the phone, and mimics me doing so all the time. He loves our cell phones but will use anything as a pretend phone.
He loves bananas, croissant rolls, oatmeal, peaches, milk, orange juice, and anything chocolate!!!
He talks all the time and makes very little sense, but he thinks he is halarious. He will laugh so hard tears will stream down his face at a sneeze or a silly noise.
He loves to take baths but is always trying to drink the water. He loves to clap along to any song and trys to sing the ABCs with anyone that will sing with him.
He loves to wait outside for his daddy to get home from work, he spends his time throwing rocks and trying to run into the road.
He rarely crys, and is very pleasant most of the time. He sleeps 13 hours a night, and has almost completly stopped taking naps. (much to my dismay)
He giggles during every prayer but will fold his arms and say amen.
He loves his grandparents, and wants to visit them all the time. He goes bananas everytime the doorbell rings, and can't wait to see who is on the other side.
He hates getting his haircut, but loves to brush his teeth.
He likes to take walks and loves when we see other kids. He always yells HI to our neighbors if he sees them when we are outside.
All in all Rowdy is a ton of fun, he keeps us on our toes all the time, we love him to peices and can't imagine life with out him in our family. We know he is going to be a great big brother just like he is an awesome son. He has a great big spirit, and we can't wait to see what he does with his life! WE LOVE YOU ROWDY!

Happy Halloween!

Pumpkin Patch!

We took Rowdy to the Pumpkin Patch last night so we could pick out some pumpkins to paint (not carving this year, save that nightmare for when he is older) he was in Halloween Heaven! He ran from one pumkin to the next as fast as he could go trying to pick them all up and climb all over them. It was so funny to watch! At one point he just layed in the hay and rolled around, he was a complete nut the entire time! It was a great experience!

There is nothing Rowdy would rather have then a PB and J. I am even getting better about letting him eat it with out help.

(yes I am so anal! I have the hardest time not helping him eat so he doesn't get food all over himself! But I am working on it! Even though he is standing in front of the tub getting ready to be scrubbed down... I may be working on letting him eat on his own and make a huge mess...however I am not going to give up on having a clean kid!)

Eating time is always an experience for us... but we are lovin the ride!

I can see!

I finally got some new glasses! I have needed them forever! I have been wearing contacts since I first started Jr. High, and needless to say my eyes need a rest from constantly wearing them.

So I picked up these, and I am really happy with them.

Please focus simply on the glasses don't mind the no make up, and hanis hair-do...I have been at the park all morining chasing my little monster!!!

So Stinkin Hot!

I keep thinking summer is almost over, but the sun just keeps on blazing...I can't wait for it to cool down!!! I am officially over the heat!

A new addition

Sexy Boy!

I am so proud of my cute little hubby right now, he has been working out like a crazy person trying to lose weight and get healthy.

He gets up every morning at 5 (a time I haven't seen since Rowdy was 3 months old) and heads over to the Lifetime Fitness behind our house to work up a sweat!

He is doing so awesome, except for the sweat band provided by SCOTT WARNER, I couldn't be more proud!

Rowdy...

I am so smittened by Rowdy right now, he has the biggest, happiest, funnest personality and I simply can't get enough...

His little smile is my favorite thing, and he loves to flash one my way all day long. He is the light of my life...

I love you so much Rowdy, Thanks for making everyday a new adventure, and always so much fun!

Dallor Store Treasure!

Today Rowdy and I went to the dallor store to buy some Halloween candles, when we first walked in I saw this fireman hat so I threw it on him thinking it might entertain him for a min or two while I did some shopping. Little did I know he was going to fall in love with it. He hasn't taken it off since I gave it to him.
All day long he has been walking around in it. He couldn't wait to show Jimmy when he got home from work his new little treasure!

This is by far the best dallor I have ever spent! And I never heard one little peep from him while I was looking for candles.

Sew Sew Sew Excited!!!

I am so excited I just bought a new sewing machine and signed up for classes so I can learn how to use it! I have wanted to do this forever and I am finally going to!!! I can't wait until I can make something! :)

Goodbye Gallbladder!

So it was finally time to say good bye to my Gallbladder! Something I have been expecting for a few years now has finally happened.

Two weeks ago during dinner with Jimmy I started having some chest pains that I would describe as a "heart attack" turns out it was my Pancreas. That was being "bothered" by my gallbladder that wasn't working correctly. After a few days in the hospital and every test under the sun, they finally decided to take my gallbladder out. I was a little nervous about the surgery, but Jimmy never left my side...and everyone and their dog in my family has had this surgery and they all seem fine, so with a little help from some "good drugs" I made it out okay.

Turns out, this problem with my gallbladder has been making me tired and sick for awhile now, but it came on so slowly I didn't realize that there was a problem untill they took it out. I feel so-o much better. I have all of my energy back and I don't feel like sitting on the couch all day. I just wish I had figured out what was going on a while ago...I have wasted 3 months feeling like a couch potatoe not knowing what was making me feel so yucky.

A HUGE THANKS to my mom and my mother in law for taking over with Rowdy while I was in the hospital...I have no idea what I would have done with out you! Also a big thanks to Jimmy for staying by my side the entire time, constantly reminding me everything would be okay...I love you babe! (Even though you told me I just had heart burn when I told you I was having a heart attack ;)

So onto bigger and better things... hopefully there won't be anymore stays in the hospital in the near future!!!

Rowdy...16 months old!

Growing Growing Gone!

Rowdy is growing up way to fast! Yesterday I took him to the doctor for a check up, and his doctor told me I could switch him to a tottler bed anytime in the next couple of months! It freaked me out! How could my little sweet baby be ready for a tottler bed! It made me just want to hold on to him and give him kisses the rest of the day. Which I did...much to his dismay!
It's amazing how fast these little ones grow. It doesn't seem that long ago, I was lugging him around in my belly :) If anyone has a way to stop the growth let me know!!!

Happy 4th of July

Hope everyone has a wonderful time celebrating today! We are lucky to be in the land of the free! Happy 4th of July! And for anyone who is not in Arizona...light up a few sparklers for me, would ya???

Red Robin!

Friday Rowdy and I spend the day with Jimmys mom and his sisters, we went to the beauty supply store, Norstroms Rack, and Red Robin. It was a lot of fun, and something I should do more often. When I was pregnant with Rowdy so where 5 of Jimmys sisters, and we where all due with in 3 months of each other pinning Rowdy right in the middle. It is always so fun to see all of them interact together now that they are old enough to play with each other. It's always fun to walk into a restaurant together and ask for 6 high chairs and all of us with a one year old in our arms.
Rowdy is normally a pretty good baby when we take him out, luckily he wasn't any different on Friday. If I could have just kept him from eating the coasters, it would have been a perfect meal!

Fun in the sun!

Rowdy has taken a little while to warm up to the idea that he is going to be a little sun baby! He really had no choice on the matter...mommy loves the sun...baby has too! So after many attempts at taking him swimming in big pools and having him bear hug me to death the entire time. We finally purchased a baby pool for him! I am pleased to say he loves it!!!

The hand pump I used to pump his new pool up with! Never again will I go cheap and buy a hand pump instead of an eletric one! My arms are still like butter!


Rowdy had as much fun watching me blow it up, as he did swimming in it! He was like a crazy person trying to figure out what I was blowing up in our front room, it was too cute!






Once he figured out he could stand up and sit down with out going under he went crazy splashing and playing!





I am keeping my fingers crossed that a few more times in the his pool will prepare him for the BIG pool! Either way we had a ton of fun in the sun!
