I got tagged!

Thank you Amy, your a big weenie and pay backs a comin!

Need to do list: 3 joys, 3 fears, 3 goals, 3 current obsessions/collections, 3 random surprising facts about myself. Tag 5 people at the end of your post by leaving their names. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog!

3 Joys...

1. Rowdy, he has been such a fun addition to our little family, he has so much personality and I love that I get to play with him all day...it's the best job ever!

2. Jimmy, I am so thankful for my sweet husband. He brings so much happiness into my life, and he spoils me everyday!

3. My mom, I am so lucky to have my mom a mile down the road. She is such a great friend and is so helpful, it's nice to be able to pick up the phone and chat with her whenever I have something to talk about, she is as crazy and fun as it gets!

3 Fears...

1. Heights, this was never a fear of mine when I was younger but as the years keep coming the fear grows stronger. I think the older I get the more I realize just how much I don't want to fall, jump, or dive off of something really high in the air because I now know hitting the bottom can really hurt!

2. Chain Saws, now this is kind of a silly one...but when I was a kid my dad was always trying to scare me. Things like...when I was in high school he used to wait for me outside to come home really late just so he could come running out from behind something and scare the livin crap out of me, or sometimes he would just come bouncing in my room like he was doing a rade, he really enjoyed this when I had friends sleeping over or when I was minding my own business he just loved the reaction he would get. Now back to the chain saw he used to take me to hunted houses, really scary ones (when I was way to young to go) that always had the chain saw at the end. The sound of them still sends a chill threw me. So thanks to my dad, I am still terrified of them!

3.Being rear ended, I have had this happen a couple of times in my life and it is something I don't ever want to happen again. I still look in my rear view mirror every time I am at a stop light to make sure little of driver behind me isn't about to take it right into the back of my car!

3 goals...

1. Lose weight, this is always on the agenda...I am a work in progress and I hope I will never stop caring to look my best!

2. Keep Rowdy safe, this is a big one for those of you who know Rowdy, he is into everything and I am always playing guarding angel. If I can get threw the next 18 years without to many cuts and bruises I will be a very happy camper!

3. Work on my marriage, I think marriage is something you have to work on daily to keep things spicy, fun, and interesting. I have a wonderful marriage with Jimmy with tons of laughs and lots of good times...I never want that to change...this will be my goal indefinitely!

3 Current obsessions/Collections

1. Twilight Series, Now I am not much of a reader but after hearing so much hype about this series I decided to give it a whirl...I loved it! I read the entire thing in a week, I am half way threw "The Host" and I am enjoying that book as well. Stephanie Meyer is a wonderful Author and I am so excited to read he 4th book in this series. It is very much my obsessions currently!

2. Blazing Noodles, I have found this wonderful meal at Pei Wei. My husband is a big fan of this food, and it has taken me awhile to find something I really enjoy there. But I have finally found it, Blazing Noodles is a delicious pasta dish that is super spicy, and very yummy. I love spicy food and the hotter the better. This is a huge current craving of mine!

3. Jewelry, I love love love jewelry, I love to wear it, I love to make it, I love to buy it! It doesn't madder if it is super expensive, or extremely cheap I love it all! It's a current obsession, a past obsession and will always be a big a huge obsession in my life!

3 Random Surprising Facts...

1. I am a secret lover of Tupperware, I want everything I own in little Tupperware compartments. In the kitchen, bathroom, office, bedroom you name it if I could put everything I own in Tupperware I would. This is one of my crazier obsessions, I don't tell many people! But here it is world I love Tupperware, and if I could I would rid the world of granola bar boxes, q tip boxes, pencil holders, moving boxes ( I just moved my entire house in large Tupperware containers, we didn't use one cardboard box) and any other boxes you can think of and go entirely to Tupperware!

2. I won snow queen 2 years in a row, in junior high we had this ridiculous Christmas after school dance. Everyone would vote for a snow queen and king. I won both my 8th grade and 9th grade year. I ended up with this hideous plastic crown and I had to slow dance with the poor sap that one snow king! It was horrible both years!

3. I love war movies, I am a guts and glory kind of gal. I love movies with a lot of fighting scenes, crazy war hero's and battles. One of my favorites is Braveheart, I have seen that movie more times then I would ever admit to! Jimmy could give or take on these movies so I do most of my blood bath watching when he is busy with other things. Kind of morbid I know, but it's definitely a surprising fact!

Bed Bath and Beyond a good find...

Bed, Bath, and Beyond
So Saturday I am cleaning out my purse/diaper bag, which is no small task I might add..when I came across a Bed Bath and Beyond gift card, which by the look of it was a wedding gift for Jimmy and I...(if that tells you how often I mill threw my wallet)... I tossed it in my "shred" pile and moved on. A while later Rowdy came walking down the hall with it in his hand, he must of snagged it from my pile when I wasn't looking.
I got thinking about it and decided that I should call and make sure I didn't have a balance left on it, seeing how I wasn't really sure where this little gem has been. So I called and sure enough it had $50.00 bucks on it just needing to be spent! Now 50 bucks isn't a huge deal but when you find something like this unexpectedly it is "Oh So Sweet"...I jumped in my car, called a girlfriend of mine and we where at BBandB in a matter of min. ready to spend this little treasure! I didn't really need anything so I just bought little odds and ends and fun stuff I would normally pass up! I have decided I am going to dig threw my purse more often!!!!! And a big thank you to whom ever gave us this wonderful gift!!!

NOT so fun to be 1

Photobucket

My poor little Rowdy turned one on April 3rd, and since then has had maybe the worst 2 weeks ever!
It all started 2 days after his birthday, it was Saturday morning and we where having pancakes with Grandma and Grandpa, when Rowdy crawled over and grabbed the pilot light on their fire place.
He spend the weekend in the Phoenix Burn and Truama Center where they took great care of him. He has 3rd degree burns on 3 of his fingers, and has lost most of the skin on his index finger...we are just so happy that he was able to come home with all 10 of his little fingers. But it has been so hard to watch him in pain, he has a ton of healing to do but everyday it gets a little better.
Jimmy and I are getting really good at changing his "dressing" on his hand. I have even made it threw a few changings without crying.
Tuesday morning we took him up to the burn clinic to see the doctor, when truma number 2 started! On our way up Rowdy started throwing up, by Tuesday night he had a tempeture of 102.7 and we ended up taking him to a pediatic Urgent Care, only to find out that he has the stomach flu!
He has had a high temp. now for a couple of days, and isn't able to keep any of his food down at all. Our biggest problem is he keep throwing up on his hand, that can't get wet!
Yesterday I took him to his doctor and we where waiting for him to come check him, when I decided it was time to have a little talk with him. Our conversation went something like this...

"Rowdy your one years old now welcome to reality! Life isn't about laying around drinking formula, and pooping your pants all day, things are going to be ruff, it's how you deal with it that counts!"

And just so everyone knows he is dealing with everything amazingly! He is much much stronger then his mommy! But together we are all dealing with this truma...we are just so thankful for everyone who has been praying for him, and thinking of us!

Happy Birthday Rowdy!

Photobucket
Today is Rowdys 1st Birthday! I can't believe he has been here for a full year already, it's amazing how fast this year has flown by. Rowdy is the best thing that has happened to Jimmy and I and we are so blessed to have him in our little family! He is the coolest baby ever, and is so pleasant...he has great social skills and loves to do tricks. Here are a few things we love about Rowdy...
He is so easy going, he is a trooper and is always down to do whatever Jimmy and I have planned. And he always does it with such a good attitude.
His smile, he has the most contagious smile ever, along with his giggle it's impossible to ever get mad at him because his little personality just makes you want to love on him!
He loves a good game, at night when we put him down we say a prayer with him, and the entire time we are trying to be reverent he is playing peek-a-boo and laughing his guts out!
His spectacular appetite, he is such a good little eater. I can call his name 20 times and he will never look over until I say "Rowdy how about bottle" and he will look over everytime.
The way he waves bye bye it is the dang cutest thing you have ever seen. He loves to go out places and wave bye bye to anyone walking past us, or sitting close to us.
This list could go on forever, I adore everything about him and I feel so blessed to have him in my home. He is my best little buddy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROWDY, MOMMY AND DADDY LOVE YOU!
