16 months

Brady is a total rebel! He is doing everything he knows he is not supposed to do. He climbs up on our kitchen table constantly, he turns the T.V. off anytime someone is watching a show...especially when it is Rowdy who can't wait to jump up and scream and cry and go bananas, he loves the attention he gets from it. He grabs cans of food from the kitchen and wings them at us, or just sits in the kitchen and rips all of the labels off of them...(I have about 20 cans with no clue what is inside of them. they will now join my food storage in hopes that if I am starving anything I open will be great)
He comes up to you and (in his own way) ask for a kiss and when you bend down to give him one he smacks ya across the face then giggles and runs away. He doesn't like food, unless it's Rowdy's then he will eat it. And the worst he loves to play on are stairs which are long, and steep and end with a hard tile floor.
He is a total nightmare...but we absolutely adore him! I can't wait to see him in the morning, I love "his" smell. He is picky, opinionated, and full of life. His hair is terrible, but I have faith it will get better if I just keep growing it out. He is my sniggley baby, and is very affectionate at times. He is smart, and learning constantly. He loves his brother to death, and always wants his attention. He is my small fry, and I am crazy about him!!!

Glue...

Today when I picked Rowdy up from school I started to question him about his day. He is loving his new preschool class, and bringing home so many cute little projects!
I wanted to remember this conversation...

Me: Rowdy how do you like your teachers, are they nice to you?
Rowdy: I really like my teachers mom, they give me GLUE!

So now I know the way to Rowdy's heart is a little glue! I love this kid!!!

Buddies

These two are finally starting to play together, and are becoming the best buddies!

Preschool!

My little stud muffin started preschool today! He has been asking all summer when the big day was going to be, and he couldn't have been more excited to go and cause trouble somewhere besides my house! :)

Something cute I want to remember...
Our conversation on the way to school.

Me: Rowdy I am nervous, I am not sure this is a good idea!
Rowdy: It's okay mom, you'll come back for me.
Me: I am just a little scared.
Rowdy: Mom you'll be fine.

I was fine, and so was he. It's hard to watch him grow up so fast, the days of hangin in our PJs watching movies, and playing super heros with out a care in the world are coming to an end. He is growing up, it makes me nervous...it makes him happy! But all in all we are both excited for all of the fun stuff and new things that are happening in our little world. I am so proud of him, he teaches me new things everyday! Rowdy James...I love ya BOY!

LOVE/HATE

So I have a love/hate relationship to this blog. It is always in the back of my mind, I should post...I am going to want to remember this, and here it sits, unloved!
But I am ready to change all of that.
I may go back and catch up on all of the excitement that is our life, I may not. For now I am starting today.
This is a record for my kids, my sister, and my mom! If anyone else reads it, please forgive my poor spelling, and bad picture taking!

Jiujitsu Fighting

Jimmy and my nephew Colton, workin on some moves.

Jimmy explaining some ground rules to JC.

Two very large men ground fighting in my front room!

Jimmy has started teaching Jiujitsu to a couple of people. It is awesome to see him teaching this very technical sport. It is fun to see him take something that he loves and that he is very good at and share his talent with others. Other then this is happening in my front room and I have to close my eyes and pray nothing gets broken (bones, walls, home decor etc.) I am proud to see him doing something he enjoys.
