Thanksgiving Point

(terrible picture of Rowdy)

Today we spend the better part of the day at Thanksgiving Point enjoying the huge fall festival that they put on...We had such a fun time hangin together. When we got there I took one bad picture of Rowdy and then my camera died on me :( It was a real bummer!
We went on a hay ride, ate scones, bounced on the bounce pads, and picked hay off from us the entire time... Rowdy loved the slides and the cow ride. Brady just loves being outside and took some pretty sweet face plants on the bounce pad.
I even got ruffed up by a husky 9 year old who tried pushing Rowdy down one of the slides, luckily mother bear stepped in, and her sweet 3 year old cub was able to make his way down the slide unharmed.
I absolutely love Thanksgiving Point, the food is always yummy, the atmosphere is always kid friendly, and they totally cater to family! It's genius, I only wish I had thought of it!

Family time!

My mom, sister and her 3 kids came up from Arizona to visit us this week, it was some much need family time. We had a blast and ate way, way, way to much.

We went up to Idaho a couple of the days they where here to visit my cute little Grandma. Her house is always so cozy and inviting. Jimmy had never been up there so it was nice to show him around Ririe a little.

Colton is giant and seemed even more so when he stood next to my tiny Grandma.

They boys just adore Colton, Rowdy thinks they are best friends, and wants to be just like him. I can't think of a better example!

Amy's kids are so nice to my boys and are the best helpers ever!!!

Even Colton who should be way to cool for my kids, couldn't be more patient and loving with them. I love that they have older cousins that they can look up to.

Jimmy and my grandma have a very cute friendship. He calls her by her middle name, and most of the time she calls him a smart mouth. But they have grown on each other, and Jimmy loves having a grandma...and he loves getting to teach her how to use her t.v.

Rowdy was in sleepover heaven!

Everytime we talk about if we are going to stay in Utah or move back to Arizona, Jimmy always throws into the pro list for Az. we will get Whitley. She is the BEST babysitter in the world. She is so nice and patient with my boys and I think she even likes to hang with them. We are definitely missing a good babysitter that we trust here in Utah. She is a huge perk if she ever decide to move back home.

Kiara was reading a book to Rowdy and I snagged this pic. I think they look like twins in this picture. They are going to preschool together...I feel horrible for there teacher :)

All of the Warner grandchildren as of yet.

Snow Clothes...

For Christmas my parents wanted to get the boys snow clothes. Since they would be needing them before Christmas "Santa" came early! They are both little butter balls, Brady couldn't even stand up, we would stand him up and he would sink back to the ground in slow motion, very strange like. I think the heavy boots were weird for him....
Thanks Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Scott! They are already to play in the snow!

G and G also hooked them up with some killer sleds! Can't wait to hit the slopes!

Kennocott Mine

Today we decided to take a drive up to Kennocott, we live so close to this massive mine we wanted to check it out. We didn't know what to expect, but it was actually a really fun time. I have heard it was pretty spectacular, and it was. We had a great time checkin stuff out and spending time together and Rowdy loved looking at the huge trucks hauling stuff around. I am glad we can check this off of the list of things we want to do...

16 months

Brady is a total rebel! He is doing everything he knows he is not supposed to do. He climbs up on our kitchen table constantly, he turns the T.V. off anytime someone is watching a show...especially when it is Rowdy who can't wait to jump up and scream and cry and go bananas, he loves the attention he gets from it. He grabs cans of food from the kitchen and wings them at us, or just sits in the kitchen and rips all of the labels off of them...(I have about 20 cans with no clue what is inside of them. they will now join my food storage in hopes that if I am starving anything I open will be great)
He comes up to you and (in his own way) ask for a kiss and when you bend down to give him one he smacks ya across the face then giggles and runs away. He doesn't like food, unless it's Rowdy's then he will eat it. And the worst he loves to play on are stairs which are long, and steep and end with a hard tile floor.
He is a total nightmare...but we absolutely adore him! I can't wait to see him in the morning, I love "his" smell. He is picky, opinionated, and full of life. His hair is terrible, but I have faith it will get better if I just keep growing it out. He is my sniggley baby, and is very affectionate at times. He is smart, and learning constantly. He loves his brother to death, and always wants his attention. He is my small fry, and I am crazy about him!!!

Glue...

Today when I picked Rowdy up from school I started to question him about his day. He is loving his new preschool class, and bringing home so many cute little projects!
I wanted to remember this conversation...

Me: Rowdy how do you like your teachers, are they nice to you?
Rowdy: I really like my teachers mom, they give me GLUE!

So now I know the way to Rowdy's heart is a little glue! I love this kid!!!
